7 Senja Alternatives for Collecting Testimonials (2026)

The best Senja alternatives in November 2026 are ShowTrust (a free plan with no testimonial cap), Famewall (unlimited testimonials from $15/month), Testimonial.to and Shapo (the closest like-for-like swaps), VideoAsk (conversational video), Trustmary (automatic review imports) and Endorsal (email and SMS requests). Most people leave Senja because its Free plan hides new testimonials after 15 and shows Senja branding, and the first paid plan costs $29/month with 2 seats and 1 project. Pick the alternative that fixes the specific limit you hit.

Senja packs a lot into its plans, so the right replacement depends on which wall you hit: the free cap, the price, the seat count or a missing feature. Below, each alternative is matched to one of those reasons, with prices checked on each vendor's pricing page in November 2026, followed by a step-by-step guide to moving your testimonials out of Senja.

Why people look for a Senja alternative

Senja’s pricing page lists four plans as of November 2026:

Plan Price (monthly billing) Main limits and features
Free $0 15 text and video testimonials; Senja branding on widgets and Walls of Love; SD video export
Starter $29/month Unlimited testimonials; 3 forms, 1 project, 2 seats; own branding, custom domain, autosync, Zapier, API and webhooks
Pro $59/month Unlimited forms; 5 projects (then $10/month each) and 5 seats (then $5/month each); team access, rich snippets, translation into 20 languages
Business $179/month founding offer (listed at $249), marked “coming soon” Customer success CRM, outreach campaigns, done-for-you setup

Yearly billing gives two months free on the paid plans. Those numbers explain most switches:

  • The free cap arrives early. Once you pass 15 testimonials, Senja hides the new ones in your account until you upgrade. Forms and widgets keep working, so you keep collecting but can’t see or publish what comes in.
  • $29/month is a big step for one wall. If you need a collection form and one embed, Starter’s autosync, Zapier and Spin the Wheel may be more than you use.
  • Seats and projects cost extra. Starter includes 2 seats and 1 project. Team access is listed as a Pro feature, and each project beyond five costs $10/month.
  • Branding stays on Free. Replacing Senja’s branding with your own needs Starter or above.
  • Some features are Pro-only. Rich snippets and automatic translation start at $59/month.

None of these is a quality problem. They are pricing and packaging questions, which is why the best alternative depends on which one applies to you.

1. ShowTrust: a free plan with no testimonial cap

ShowTrust is a focused tool: a hosted collection page, an approval queue and an embeddable Wall of Love. As of November 2026:

  • Price: Free is $0 with no card: 1 project, unlimited testimonials and every layout. Pro is $4.99/month or $49.99/year per project slot, and each slot adds one project.
  • What it fixes vs Senja: no testimonial cap on Free, and the small “Wall of love by ShowTrust” credit can be switched off. Pro adds white-label walls and video testimonials, recorded in the browser or uploaded, 15 seconds to 5 minutes, with no limit on the number of videos.
  • Imports: X posts and App Store reviews by link, CSV files from any tool with columns matched automatically, and reviews pasted from G2, Capterra or Trustpilot that AI splits into testimonials (import options). A Senja CSV export fits the CSV route.
  • Integrations: Slack, Discord, signed webhooks and a REST API on every plan. There is no native Zapier app; the webhooks work with Zapier’s Catch Hook, Make or n8n.
  • What it lacks: no autosync from review sites, no transcription or captions, no AI translation (the form interface comes in 9 languages), no review schema from the widget, and no team seats. It’s one login per account, and approval is a single owner’s click.

It suits founders and small teams who want one wall live without a monthly bill. The 1:1 breakdown is in ShowTrust vs Senja.

2. Testimonial.to: the closest like-for-like swap

Testimonial.to covers the same jobs as Senja: collection forms, a public Wall of Love page, embeddable widgets and imports. As of November 2026 (pricing):

  • Price: Free; Starter $30/month or $300/year; Ultimate $60/month or $600/year per space; Ultimate+ $1,140/year per space. Paid plans have a 7-day free trial.
  • Free limits: 10 text and 2 video testimonials in total. Customers can keep submitting past the limit, but you need to upgrade to see those submissions.
  • What it fixes vs Senja: X and LinkedIn imports are unlimited on Free, and white-label widgets start on Starter (the comparison table reserves “Remove Testimonial branding” for Ultimate). Ultimate adds Google rich snippets, a REST API, MCP, webhooks, Zapier and team members.
  • What it lacks: video stays capped at 2 in total until Ultimate, and Starter has one collection form per space. At $30/month, Starter doesn’t save money over Senja Starter.

Pick it if you like Senja’s feature set but prefer Testimonial.to’s packaging, for example unlimited X and LinkedIn imports on the free plan. Details: ShowTrust vs Testimonial.to.

3. Shapo: unlimited forms at Senja’s price

Shapo collects text, video and image testimonials and ships a long list of review widgets. As of November 2026 (pricing):

  • Price: Free; Pro $29/month, with two months free on yearly billing. A 7-day Pro trial costs $1.
  • Free limits: 15 testimonials, collected or imported, plus Shapo branding, 20 tags and 1 survey. Past 15, incoming testimonials aren’t visible until you upgrade. Video and image collection work on Free.
  • What it fixes vs Senja: forms and widgets are unlimited on every plan, Free included (Senja Starter allows 3 forms), and Pro adds imports from 30+ platforms, 500 email campaign invites a month and unlimited AI or NPS surveys.
  • What it lacks: the free cap is the same 15 as Senja’s, and the pricing page lists no team seats or rich snippets. For agencies, Shapo suggests separate workspaces, each with its own billing.

A closer look at its collection flow: Shapo vs ShowTrust.

4. Famewall: translation and schema from $15/month

Famewall builds testimonial walls and collection pages, and it also accepts audio testimonials. As of November 2026 (pricing):

  • Price: Free; Standard $15/month ($149/year); Professional $29/month ($299/year); Business $99/month ($959/year); Agency $149/month ($1,499/year).
  • Free limits: 10 testimonials, 1 video and 1 audio testimonial, 1 published wall, 1 team member.
  • What it fixes vs Senja: Standard already includes unlimited testimonials, white-label embeds, automatic language translation, review snippet schema, Zapier, webhooks, Slack and Discord, and API access. Senja spreads those across Starter and Pro.
  • What it lacks: Standard caps video at 6 testimonials and recordings at 2 minutes, and includes 1 team member (3 on Professional, 10 on Business).

It’s the budget pick when you need translation or schema without paying $59/month. More: ShowTrust vs Famewall.

5. VideoAsk: conversational video, not a wall

VideoAsk, from Typeform, records asynchronous video, audio and text answers in multi-step flows. Testimonial collection is one of its listed use cases, next to recruiting and lead generation. As of November 2026 (pricing):

  • Price: Start $0; Grow $30/month ($24/month billed yearly); Brand from $50/month ($40/month billed yearly).
  • Metering: video and audio processing minutes: 20 a month on Start, 100 on Grow and 200 on Brand (1,200 and 2,400 a year on annual plans).
  • What it fixes vs Senja: transcription, captions and conditional logic on every plan, up to 3 users even on Start, and live calls from Grow.
  • What it lacks: its pricing page lists no testimonial wall or approval library, so showing answers on your site means its embed widget or exporting the videos. Start is VideoAsk-branded, Grow is partially branded, and only Brand adds your own brand and domain white labeling.

Details: ShowTrust vs VideoAsk.

6. Trustmary: automatic review imports

Trustmary combines feedback surveys, review collection and review widgets, aimed at service and multi-location businesses. As of November 2026 (pricing):

  • Price: Solo is free. The paid subscription starts at $29/month ($25/month billed annually) for 10 survey responses and 5,000 widget views, and features are added as paid add-ons. The page also shows preset bundles: Starter at $388/month and Business at $650/month billed annually ($462 and $778 on monthly billing), plus an AI Visibility plan at $191/month billed annually.
  • Metering: survey responses and widget views. Solo includes 5 responses and 200 widget views a month. When a plan’s view limit is reached, the widget is hidden until the limit resets.
  • What it fixes vs Senja: automatic imports from Google, Facebook, G2, Capterra, TripAdvisor and Yelp (through the review-connections add-on), native HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations (a $95/month add-on billed annually, or part of the Business bundle), Schema.org review markup (listed in the Starter bundle), and SMS distribution in Europe.
  • What it lacks: the base subscription is small (10 responses and 5,000 widget views a month), and the features that matter here are extras: auto-import connections, white-label ($19/month billed annually, or part of Business) and premium integrations. A bundle like Starter costs more than Senja Pro.

It fits when Google and Facebook reviews are your main proof. Details: ShowTrust vs Trustmary.

7. Endorsal: email and SMS review requests

Endorsal automates testimonial and review requests by email and SMS, then displays them in widgets and on a Wall of Love. As of November 2026 (pricing):

  • Price: Free; Starter $39/month ($29/month billed yearly); Professional $79/month ($59/month billed yearly); Advanced from $349/month. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial.
  • Metering: total contacts and monthly unique visitors. Free covers 100 contacts and 1,000 visitors a month with no video. Starter’s entry tier covers 500 contacts, 2,500 visitors and 10 video testimonials.
  • What it fixes vs Senja: automated email and SMS requests, imports from Google, Facebook, Yelp, Tripadvisor and more, rating badges and FOMO popups.
  • What it lacks: branding is removed only from Professional, the Wall of Love page is also a Professional feature, video counts are capped per plan, and the price rises with your contact and visitor counts.

Details: ShowTrust vs Endorsal.

Senja vs VideoAsk

Senja is a testimonial library: it collects, imports, tags and displays testimonials on walls and widgets. VideoAsk is a conversational video form: it is built to get someone on camera through a multi-step flow, with transcription and captions included, and its pricing page lists no Wall of Love or testimonial library.

Choose VideoAsk for interviews, video FAQs or lead qualification, with testimonials as one use among several. Choose Senja, or one of the testimonial tools above, when the end goal is proof on your website. On price, VideoAsk’s Grow plan ($30/month) sits next to Senja Starter ($29/month), but VideoAsk meters video minutes, while Senja’s paid plans list unlimited testimonials.

Free Senja alternatives

Every tool here has a free plan, but the limits use different units:

Tool Free plan limit Branding on Free Video on Free
Senja (for reference) 15 testimonials; newer ones hidden Yes Yes, within the 15
ShowTrust Unlimited testimonials, 1 project Small credit link you can switch off No (Pro)
Shapo 15 testimonials; newer ones hidden Yes Yes, within the 15
Testimonial.to 10 text + 2 video (total) No (white-label widgets from Starter; full removal on Ultimate) 2 in total
Famewall 10 testimonials, 1 published wall Yes (white-label from Standard) 1
Endorsal 100 contacts, 1,000 visitors a month Yes (removed on Professional) No
VideoAsk 20 processing minutes a month Yes Yes, minute-metered
Trustmary 5 survey responses, 200 widget views a month Yes (white-label is an add-on) Not listed

For unlimited text testimonials at $0, ShowTrust is the only tool in this list without a count limit. For free video, Shapo and Testimonial.to allow some within their caps. A free plan that hides new testimonials at the limit, as Senja’s and Shapo’s do, keeps collecting but blocks publishing until you pay.

How to move your testimonials from Senja

Senja exports testimonials to CSV on every plan, Free included (Senja’s export guide). The file contains the text, image URLs and video URLs (in the attachments and video_mp4_url columns). Auto-merged multi-part videos aren’t included.

  1. Export before you downgrade. In Senja, open Proof, click the three dots next to “Invite a customer” and choose “Export all to CSV”. Free exports video in SD only, so download HD video files while you’re still on a paid plan.
  2. Keep your consent records. Note which customers agreed to public use of their words and video, and carry that into the new tool. This checklist on getting permission to use testimonials covers what to keep.
  3. Import the CSV. In ShowTrust, columns such as name, review and rating are matched automatically, you can change the mapping, and you review every row before it’s saved. Duplicates are skipped. Other tools’ importers differ, so test with a few rows first.
  4. Handle video separately. The video links in the CSV point to Senja’s files. Download them, and check how the new tool accepts existing video before you cancel.
  5. Swap the embed code. Replace Senja’s widget snippet on every page with the new tool’s snippet, including pages built from templates.
  6. Update collection links. Replace the Senja form link in emails, onboarding flows, QR codes and email signatures.
  7. Keep Senja running until the new wall is live. Senja’s FAQ says that after a downgrade, existing testimonials stay and widgets keep working, with Senja branding back on.

When Senja is still the better choice

Switching isn’t always the right call. Senja is still ahead in these areas, as of November 2026:

  • Imports and autosync. Senja’s pricing FAQ lists imports from 35 sources (the Free plan card on the same page says 18 sites), including X, Facebook, Google, Capterra, Airbnb, Zillow and Trustpilot, and Starter adds autosync of new testimonials. ShowTrust has no autosync.
  • Verification marks. On every plan, Senja marks a testimonial as Verified (imported by Senja from the original post and unchanged) or Verified purchase (the author’s email paid you through a connected Stripe account), with a public page explaining each mark.
  • Teams. Pro includes 5 seats and team access. ShowTrust has one login per account, and Famewall Standard has one team member.
  • Translation and rich snippets in one tool. Both are on Senja Pro. No tool can guarantee review stars, though: Google’s review snippet guidelines limit LocalBusiness and Organization review markup to sites that review other businesses, so reviews a company shows about itself don’t qualify.
  • Extras on Free. Case-study generation, Reels from video testimonials, Stripe customer sync and thank-you gifts are all listed on Senja’s Free plan.

If you rely on three or more of these, Senja’s $29 to $59 a month is likely money well spent.

What to test before you switch

Run one testimonial through the whole loop on a free plan or trial before you commit:

  • Collect: submit a test testimonial from your phone, with video if you need it, and check the recording length limit.
  • Approve: find it in the queue, fix a typo, tag it and approve it.
  • Display: embed the wall on a staging page. Check that it loads without slowing the page and that its styles don’t clash with yours.
  • Remove: reject or delete it and confirm it disappears from the widget.
  • Export: download a CSV so you know you can leave again.
  • Read the meter: note whether the plan counts testimonials, contacts, widget views or video minutes, and estimate where you’ll be in a year.

If a tool handles collection well but makes publishing awkward, you’ll notice it every time you add a testimonial.

Which Senja alternative fits your reason for leaving

Match the tool to the reason you’re leaving:

  • The 15-testimonial cap or the $29 price: ShowTrust (free, no cap) or Famewall ($15/month).
  • You want Senja’s feature set with different packaging: Testimonial.to or Shapo.
  • Video interviews with captions: VideoAsk.
  • Google and Facebook reviews pulled into one place: Trustmary (auto-import add-on) or Endorsal (imports from Google, Facebook, Yelp and more).
  • SMS review requests: Endorsal.
  • Seats, translation, verification and autosync in one place: stay on Senja Pro.

Whichever you choose, export your Senja CSV first and keep the old widgets live until the new wall is on every page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a free Senja alternative with unlimited testimonials?
Yes. As of November 2026, ShowTrust's Free plan has no testimonial limit: one project, unlimited text testimonials and a small credit link you can switch off. Video needs Pro at $4.99 a month per project slot. Shapo and Senja cap their free plans at 15 testimonials, Famewall at 10, and Testimonial.to at 10 text plus 2 video.
Senja vs Testimonial.to: which is better?
They cover the same jobs, so it comes down to packaging. Senja Starter is $29 a month with unlimited text and video testimonials and 3 forms. Testimonial.to Starter is $30 a month with unlimited text but only 2 videos in total; unlimited video needs Ultimate at $60 a month per space. Neither free plan is white-label: Testimonial.to's white-label widgets start on Starter (removing all Testimonial branding needs Ultimate), and Senja's free widgets show Senja branding.
Can I import my Senja testimonials into another tool?
Yes. Senja exports testimonials to CSV on every plan, with text, image links and video links. Tools with a CSV importer, such as ShowTrust, can take that file; ShowTrust matches columns like name, review and rating automatically. Video files have to be downloaded separately, and Senja's Free plan exports video in SD only.
Do any Senja alternatives add Google review stars?
Several offer review schema markup: Famewall from Standard, Testimonial.to on Ultimate, Trustmary in its Starter bundle, and Senja on Pro. ShowTrust's widget doesn't add schema. No tool can guarantee stars, because Google doesn't show review snippets for reviews a business publishes about itself with LocalBusiness or Organization markup.
What happens to my Senja widgets if I downgrade to Free?
According to Senja's FAQ, your testimonials stay, forms and widgets keep working and links don't break. Senja branding comes back, testimonials beyond the 15 free ones are hidden, and paid features get a 10-day grace period. Download HD videos before downgrading, since Free exports in SD.

Want to try the uncapped free option? Start a ShowTrust wall on the Free plan with unlimited testimonials and no card, and upgrade to Pro ($4.99/month per project slot) only if you need video or a white-label wall.
